Yadanagu Pagoda / Nat Festival

8th Waxing Moon Day of Wagaung in Aug 12 2005

It is one of much gloriest and distinguish spirit festival occurs annually on August, just one week after the end of Taungbyone spirit festival. The festival is held annually in honour of Popa-Medaw (Mother of Mt. Popa). One might see the Kinship between nats and humans. Some group of people could be seen holding a ceremony to propitiate nats everywhere around Yadanagu area. Some are dancing as if he is possessed by a nat. The music playing in this ceremony could stimulate the people more than any other types of music and hence everybody wants to get into the ceremony.

Natural human life

Last Thingyan

Last Thingyan 2005, i visited to Innlay, Taunggyi and Pindaya with my friend Tin Htun Aung. I was so happy at that time and I got new experience and saw various human life. When we reached Innlay lake, my friends jumped into the water and they were like fishes. But, I cann't swim. After visiting there, my skin was changed brown to black. :)
Anyway I was very happy at that time.
